Pingback: Japan’s incompatible electrical grids | Alice Gordenker アリス・ゴーデンカー
What a brilliant blog. Thank you very much Alice. I’ve just started up an initiative called GLOBAL SETSUDEN. The aim of the movement, inspired by the seemingly effortless energy saving tactics of post Fukushima Japan, is to encourage as many people and businesses across the globe to power down for just one hour a day. I hope you won’t mind us tweeting and facebooking some of your tips, and of course your blog.
We hope to have a website up by this weekend – http://www.globalsetsuden.com
Thanks again
Dear Alice,
Thank you for this wonderful article on summer savings. Today its cold and wet, and
I’ve started thinking about how to cope with winter. I wanted to ask you specifically
about the use of hot carpets (short and long term) as opposed to other forms of
heating like gas heaters. the gas heaters are powered by gas but need to be turned
on (and presumably kept on) by electricity.
And I LOVE you garden!!!!
Helen
Thanks for your personal marvelous posting! I genuinely enjoyed reading it, you could be a great author.
I will be sure to bookmark your blog and definitely will come back at
some point. I want to encourage that you continue your great work, have a
nice holiday weekend!
Dear Alice,
Thank you so much. I’m quite a new person in Japan and don’t know the language moreover. You helped me finally find the way to reset my fridge! よかった!
It is really very hard to dig out information here, but thanks to your page, life seems simplified. And yes, Alice, I have just started reading your columns, and I think I won’t stop following your write – ups. Thanks again.
I have always seen that National products were best in allways, but sadly not available, specially refrigerators..can u recomend me a brand now available of same type and having the same capability like National. (Japan).thank you.
