My First Giveaway: 2 Free Tickets to the Doisneau Restrospective

If you can get to the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography by Sunday May 14, by all means enter my first blog giveway to receive a pair of tickets to the ongoing Doisneau restrospective. A 1,600 yen value! : Enter by using the contact form on this blog to send me your name, email address and mailing address. I won’t use your personal information for any reason. I won’t even keep it. I’ll use a computer to randomly select a winner. Let’s limit to this to residents of Japan, and to be fair to others, please enter only if you’ve got a reasonable chance of really using the tickets. Since there’s only two weeks left before the show closes, I’m going to make this a quickie: I’ll select the winner on Tuesday morning and mail the tickets that afternoon. That’s why I’m asking for your mailing address upfront, so more time won’t pass while I’m waiting to hear back from the winner. I apologize to those for whom I’m not giving enough notice. I’ll try to do another giveaway soon. If you’re not sure if you’re interested, read my blog post on the show for more information.

Update May 1, 8:30 am: The Doisneau Giveway is now closed. The lucky winner is F.P. of Tokyo, and I will be mailing the tickets (in a plain brown envelope) later this morning. Congratulations, F.P, and thanks to all of you who entered. I hope you’ll go see the exhibit anyway. I’ll do these giveaways periodically so check back often!
